The Annual Business Conference (ABC) — 2017 of Advent Pharma Limited was held on 14th January 2017 at the conference room of the factory located at BSCIC Industrial Estate Dhamrai, Dhaka.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Wajhi Ahmed , the Chairman of the company amidst warm greetings from the participants present on the occasion. The Chairman delivered the welcome address of the conference.
Mr. Mohd. Jawaid Yahya , the Managing Director & CEO ; Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain , the Chief Financial Officer and Dr. Md. Reajul Islam, the Marketing Manager also grace the occasion.
The Annual Business Conference continued from 09-00 A.M. to 05-00 P.M. and was attended by Regional Sales Managers (RSM) , Area Managers (AM) , Senior Product Promotion Officers (SPPO) and Product Promotion Officers (PPO) of Advent Pharma Limited who are posted at various territories of the country.
The Managing Director & CEO initiated the proceedings of the Annual Business Conference addressing the participants highlighting importance of organizing sales meetings and business events that help enterprises to come up with business solutions as such type of meetings involve people getting together to interact and exchange ideas.
The Managing Director & CEO stated that Advent’s corporate objective is to continue making significant contribution towards improving animal health. He said that health of livestock contribute crucially to provide people with safe food as it is imperative that if animals are healthy , the health of people improves.
The Managing Director & CEO expressed happiness that business of Advent Pharma Ltd. continues to strengthen despite challenges and said that 2016 was a successful financial year for Advent. Both the Therapeutic products as well as the Nutritional products contributed to the positive business performance of Advent with good growth rates. He expressed optimism to look forward to coming years with confidence. He further stated that this will enable us to continue successfully achieving our mission of making a contribution for improving animal health.
The Marketing Manager presented a detailed comprehensive report on sales & collection target and viz a viz respective performance achievement there on for the year 2016. Best achiever of 2016 was awarded and incentives were granted to good standing performers.
The Marketing Manager placed the Business Policy of 2017 and outlined its salient features.
He further announced some important strategic business steps in the conference and briefed the participants about the upcoming products planned for launching during the year 2017.
